Tabor looks to return to the top of the conference thanks in large part to eight returning All-KCAC players, as well as senior quarterback Simon McKee who was lost last season due to a shoulder injury. Before McKee went down the Bluejays earned their highest top 25 ranking ever as they climbed to No. 3 in the polls. McKee along with the rest of the Bluejays earned one of the programs biggest regular season wins last season as they defeated NAIA power Missouri Valley College on the road. However do to injuries the Bluejays were not able to withstand their hot start as they finished the regular season ranked No. 24 in the polls. However with the return on McKee along with another strong recruiting class the Bluejays should rebound nicely in 2015. The key to the 2015 season is going to be health, depth, and team chemistry as Tabor continues to be relevant in the KCAC race. “Chemistry, fundamentals, and humility are what I am looking for this year more than anything,†said Head Coach Mike Gardner. “Our ability and talent need to continue to be about team success. If we do that than individual can goals happen.†The Bluejays return 57 lettermen and will have a deep roster that will include 34 former captains and many new players from a wide variety of winning programs.
